Vaccines are one of our most effective tools to control the COVID-19 pandemic, yet questions remain about when vaccine doses should be given to maximize impact. Some data suggests that longer intervals between doses would provide better protection against COVID-19 than the standard 3 and 4 week intervals between doses for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, respectively.
The goal of this project is to:
  • compare the effectiveness of different intervals between vaccine doses among individuals in Georgia
The project will inform the optimal timing of booster doses, which substantially improve vaccine effectiveness.
